Considering a relaxed and fun wedding ceremony in Cowaramup?

Cowaramup is a delightful little town 10 minutes north of Margaret River. Many visitors do not realise the local beach and cliffs provide dramatically beautiful backdrops for their nuptials and subsequent photos.

Just take a short detour – 10 minutes from the centre of town – to Gracetown Lookout and beach foreshore to get a glimpse at the region’s best kept secret!

There are several advantages to having a local wedding in the Cowaramup area…

  1. First of all the Gracetown Caravan Park has affordable cabins, caravan and tent sites available for large groups.
  2. Secondly, the nearby Olio Bello cafe serves divine lunches under shady trees – perfect for an intimate, laid-back celebration lunch.
  3. And thirdly, being a best-kept-secret, you’re unlikely to be photo-bombed by tourists… in fact, if there is anyone else on the beach, they’re likely to stop and applaud your good luck!

Here are the directions from Cowaramup to Gracetown:

Whether you dream of your big days as a relaxed and fun wedding or a more formal affair, all couples need to organise a permit to marry in public spaces in the Margaret River region.  Check this article for contact details and how to apply. Don’t worry, it’s a quick, easy and affordable process.

If you’re marrying on private property, no permit is needed. Easy!
