Thank you so much for the beautiful ceremony at Knee Deep Wines. We had such an amazing and special day and are now enjoying married life!

We had a wonderful honeymoon in Kota Kinabalu and Singapore – spent our time relaxing by the pool and reading!

Knee Deep Wines as a wedding venue

I arrived for the ceremony of Elizabeth and Matthew 15 minutes ahead of time (as required by law), and found the ceremony set up next to the vines, despite threatening clouds and a howling wind.

Initially I was worried about how we would stop everything flying away in the wind, but the event organiser, Liz from Knee Deep Wines, remained calm.  Together we found a solution to stop the tablecloth flying away, and guests stepped forward to hold the musician’s music sheets.

In fact, the minor dramas just added to the “enjoyability” of the ceremony! The musician’s aids quickly became known as “the body guards”, and guests applauded Elizabeth’s foresight to wear her hair in an exquisite up-do.

As for the looming storm clouds, well… they disappeared for the duration of the ceremony, and the sun shone on the happiest couple in the world at that time! As you can see by their wedding photo (by Nik Babic of Nik Babic Photography), the sun highlighting the Knee Deep vines made for a romantic backdrop to this very blessed pair.
