A beautiful ceremony for our wedding day

a beautiful ceremony for alecia and ryan at brookland valleyThank you for performing such a beautiful ceremony for us on our wedding day at Flutes on the 17th November.

It was such a special day and we are so glad you could share it with us.

We appreciate all that you did for us in the lead up to the day and also on the wedding day  (especially waiting 30mins for the bride to arrive, sorry).

Thank you once again.

Love from Ryan and Alecia Thompson, Margaret River

A beautiful ceremony in a beautiful location…

Brookland Valley, home to the world-class restaurant Flutes (run by Chef Proprietor Francois Morvan), is on Caves Road in Metricup. The estate is set amongst rolling hills laced with grape vines, lush dales, pockets of old trees, and expansive dams.

According to “WA Now and Then“, the region’s first grapes were “grown by a Mr. Meleri prior to 1920,” but it was not until 1967 that the region’s first commercial vines were planted in the neighbouring subregion of Wilyabrup.

Brookland Valley has honoured the history of the locality by situating an original “group settlement home” (colloquially known as a “groupy”) at the entrance. Ryan and Alecia are pictured in front of this beautifully restored groupy – a rustic and charming backdrop for your wedding day.
