This Pop-Up Wedding Weekend is for couples who are gathering with mates, maybe for the Grand Final, or maybe to avoid the Grand Final, but either way, you’re together, so why not use this opportunity to tie the knot and celebrate? Choose any day over the long weekend, any time slot, and boom, let’s get you hitched!
While it may seem unconventional, getting married on Grand Final Day an offer some unique advantages for the right couple.
For sports-loving partners, especially those who share a deep passion for the game, this symbolic day becomes more than just a wedding — it’s a fusion of two major life passions. Further, guests who are already in the mood to celebrate may enjoy the chance to watch the game together during the reception or cocktail hour. It can spark camaraderie, laughter, and bonding among guests — especially if both teams are represented in the crowd — turning the wedding into a truly one-of-a-kind event.
For couples who don’t care about football, it can be a tongue-in-cheek act of rebellion, a way to celebrate love instead of rivalry.
Either way, this is a day for those who want a relaxed, fun-filled celebration. We do all the set-up for you, so all you need to do is rock and up be awesome!
Lodge your paperwork one month before this pop-up wedding day, and you can be legally wed by award-winning Celebrant Anita Revel.
Three time slots available each day: breakfast, mid-morning and late lunch. (Others by appointment).
What is a Pop-Up Wedding Day?
A pop-up wedding is where you can enjoy super stylish wedding props and venue facilities at a fraction of the cost. Because you’re hiring the space for one hour instead of a whole day, the hire costs are shared between couples to represent fabulous value-for-money.
The wedding days at Hay Shed Hill feature Big Love Tiny Chapel as your wedding space, on the grounds of the beautiful Hay Shed Hill in Margaret River.
INCLUDED in this Pop-Up Wedding Margaret River:
Ceremony + Chapel + Venue Hire @ Margaret River Heartland $1950
- Celebrant: Anita Revel*, described as modern, light-hearted and genuine;
- Venue: In the Big Love Tiny Chapel on the grounds of a private property (Margaret River region);
- Venue Hire: I have booked the venue on your behalf — no extra paperwork required;
- Guests: 4 in the Big Love Tiny Chapel, up to 20 others gathered around the porch.
Ceremony + Chapel + Venue Hire @ CBCo (Monday only) $3450
- Lunch / Takeaways $300 voucher to use at CBCo for your celebration lunch (or spend it on takeaway beer to enjoy throughout the day);
- Photography: One hour with Kendra Benson
- Celebrant: Anita Revel*, described as modern, light-hearted and genuine;
- Venue: In the Big Love Tiny Chapel by the forest at CBCo Brewing in Margaret River;
- Venue Hire: I have booked the venue on your behalf — no extra paperwork required;
- Guests: 4 in the Big Love Tiny Chapel, up to 90 others gathered around the porch.
Additional (optional) extras:
- Photographer: a professional photographer can be arranged on your behalf — let’s know your preferred style of photography, and budget;
- Hair, Make-up: We can refer you to HMU artists near to your accommodation;
- Flowers: So many options! Ask us for recommendations;
- Transport: How many guests do you need transported?

With regards to a Pop-up Big Love Wedding Day:
Q: What if we have to cancel?
A: To cover the various vendor t&c’s, $250 of each booking is non-refundable, regardless of the reason. All efforts will be made to re-schedule in the case of “Acts of God”, in which case, your booking will be carried over. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, all but the $250 non-refundable booking fee will be refunded. If the booking is cancelled by the couple, 100% is non-refundable, but your booking may be on-sold.
Q: Can I have a Celebrant other than Anita?
A: Sure thing. Big Love Tiny Chapel is an inclusive venue and welcomes all lovers of love and whimsy. Simply book the “No legals” option, and pay your Celebrant their fee directly.
