It’s the “Views and Brews” themed pop-up wedding
on the Busselton foreshore:
Saturday 27 April 2024

This Pop-Up Wedding Day is for couples who want a cute-af-boho beach wedding organised for them. Think beach-wedding vibes, ocean-view ceremony, royalty treatment at Shelter Brewing Co for your celebratory lunch (or dinner!)… It will be a day full of love, cruisy vibes, views and brews, and we absolutely can’t wait to see you here with us.

Package tiers are available — from budget-friendly bare essentials, to a luxe package including photographer and a reception budget.

Lodge your paperwork one month before this pop-up wedding day, and you can be legally wed by award-winning Celebrant Anita Revel*, in Margaret River.

  • Enjoy the heck out of your brews and views at Shelter Brewery, and your first meal as a married couple.

What is a Pop-up Wedding?

A pop-up wedding is where you can enjoy wedding props and venue facilities at a fraction of the cost. Because you’re hiring the ceremony space for one hour instead of a whole day, the hire costs are shared between couples to represent fabulous value-for-money. All the organising, set-up and pack-down is done for you too, which means all there is for you to do, is invite your besties, dress up, look fabulous, and enjoy!

INCLUDED in this Pop-Up Wedding on the Busselton foreshore:

Basic $1590

  • Celebrant: Anita Revel, described as modern, light-hearted and genuine;
  • Venue: In the Big Love Tiny Chapel on the Busselton foreshore;
  • Permit: I have booked the venue on your behalf — no extra paperwork required;
  • Ceremony Guests: up to 4 or so in Big Love Tiny Chapel; up to 20 outside for the ceremony; unlimited guests at Shelter (bookings required).

Luxe $3900

  • As above PLUS:
  • Photographer: Elise from This Little Vibe — candid, natural, light and happy;
  • Reception / Celebration: a $750 tab to use at Shelter Busselton as you wish. Splurge on yourselves, or invite your mates;
  • Flowers: a bouquet from the Protea Farm;
  • Extra time: An extra half an hour for photography with the chapel;
  • Extra Guests: unlimited guests gathered around the porch.

Conditions: Couples are responsible for their spend at Shelter over their allotted tab. Bookings are required in advance.

Additional (optional) extras:

  • Hair, Make-up: We can refer you to HMU artists near to your accommodation;
  • Flowers: So many options! Ask us for recommendations;
  • Transport: How many guests do you need transported?
  • Accommodation: Spoilt for choice! We will refer you to the Margaret River website to view your accommodation options.

FAQ about this Big Love Wedding Day

With regards to a Pop-up Big Love Wedding Day:

Q: What if we have to cancel?
A: To cover the various vendor t&c’s, $250 of each booking is non-refundable, regardless of the reason. All efforts will be made to re-schedule in the case of “Acts of God”, in which case, your booking will be carried over. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, all but the $250 non-refundable booking fee will be refunded. If the booking is cancelled by the couple, 100% is non-refundable, but your booking may be on-sold.

Q: Can I have a Celebrant other than Anita?
A: Sure thing. Big Love Tiny Chapel is an inclusive venue and welcomes all lovers of love and whimsy. When you receive your quote, simply book the “No legals” option, and pay your Celebrant their fee directly.

Q: Can we bring a group for a different date?
A: The foreshore requires a City permit, so dates are limited. This won’t be our last event at Shelter though, so if this date doesn’t suit, hang in there!

Q: Can we bring guests for lunch or dinner?
A: Absolutely — the staff at Shelter are more than happy to facilitate your celebration needs
